.With 145 euros per year per person, the French budget dedicated to perfumes and cosmetics is not the most threatened, because even in a period of restriction, it corresponds to an accessible luxury to which the consumer is not ready to give up ..

Suzette Riego interview

Hi lovely people, Angie Paris Rues Méconnues Officiel here. As you all, my job is to welcome the world in Paris, and spread the French way abroad too. One of these aspects includes the French Savoir Faire and nothing better than fashion to express this artful quality. I’ve been interested in fashion for years, promoting young designers wearing their clothing lines (Glam Ethnik by Ayden, Sadio-BeeStéphanie Coudert) during my shows, meetings, tours or conferences. It is always so rewarding to see then rise.
What I also like is to lend a hand to make a difference in this world. I’ve been doing this for 8 years. So when I had the opportunity to mix my two motives in life, working with Suzette Riego : the woman behind this humanist and ambitious project” fashion Extreme Paris” I was delighted, more than willing to do an interview and collaborate with her.
Thank you so much Suzette to take some time off your busy schedule , ten days prior the fashion show , for the interview.

1) Who are you Suzette Riego?
A dedicated mother, artist & humanitarian who is passionate about her family, craft & helping others.

2) Where the inspirations for such projects come from?
My family most specially my kids. The fact that they know we are able to help & bless others with what we do makes a world of difference to them & teaches them valuable lessons in life. My peers & colleagues, to be able to provide a platform for them to showcase their talents & help jumpstart their careers or make their dreams come true is both inspiring & encouraging. Finally God, He has blessed us in many ways. To be able to give it back & be a blessing to others is downright humbling. To give Him glory is the ultimate joy & inspiration.

3) In which aspects this third edition is different from the others?
The one thing that stands out is Growth. Fashion Extreme Paris has evolved & grown in numbers through the years. From 6 designers on the 1st FEP, to 10 on the 2nd season… Now on FEP 3 we are at 14 designers. The same goes with the models from 30… To 45 & now 60. The humans, the media, the artists & the audience in general have also experienced a significant amount of increase.

4) Name three great moments of your career
There are many beautiful moments in my career that I am thankful for. Magazine Covers, Articles, Television Interviews etc… But the highlight would be creating Fashion Extreme Paris. This is not only a dream come true for me but to be able to help others achieve theirs (dream)? Hands-down this is the greatest!

5) You are a wife, mother, makeup artist, and beside all this, a philanthropist developing your foundation. Tell us your secret
Secret?
Passion! “I just love what I do & do what I love!” I love my family, I love doing makeup & I love helping others.

6) The three principles your life is based on
I try to live my life on Biblical Principles. To Love God above all & to Love my neighbor is of utmost significance. This guiding principle keeps me on track. I believe in the principle of sowing & reaping in all aspects of my life. What you give is what you get.

7) What are you thankful for in general and this 3rd edition IN particular?
God above all! Without Him none of this is possible. He keeps me going. My husband who is an angel sent from above & of course everyone who contributes on making Fashion Extreme Paris become a reality including our team, the audience et all.

8) What are your expectations for Fashion Extreme Paris in the Future?
Our tagline this year reads… “Bigger, Better, The Best is yet to come!” But at the same time we leave it to God’s perfect will. We will do our part. Work hard and leave the rest to God. Let His will be done!

9) An advice to whoever would like to follow your steps
It starts with a Vision. Without vision, there is no direction. We all have dreams. Visualize it! See yourself getting there. Pray for the perfect plan in your life & put it into action. Have faith & trust God’s plan. Finally, as you progress, always give back Him back the glory, thanksgiving & praise.
