Inescapable rendez-vous where the whole team isspending some time just between us for a little over a week of relaxation but also working to prepare the 2019 edition of our solidarity festival and charity #resousmoi aka solveme
Leaving Italy away, this year we’re heading to Crete, home of the legendary King Minos founder of the Minoan civilization and of course we will go to Greece 🇬🇷 neighbor to see how to help face the disasters of the fires of summer that ravage everything in their path 😢
Greece is a country teeming with beauty. Its key feature though is the endless summer, the blue sky and the sea. Each year people flock to Greece’s exquisite beaches, both on the islands and the mainland coast, seeking the life-giving sun and the cool sea. Visitors from all over the world choose Greece to experience memorable moments, enjoy infinite nature, taste delicious dishes from traditional cuisine and bask in the renowned, warm Greek hospitality..
You have umpteen options available; you can choose a cosmopolitan destination like Mykonos, a vast island like Crete, a coastal town like Parga, or a hidden ‘jewel’ like the Koufonisia islands in the Minor Cyclades. Whichever destination you choose, you will enjoy an experience and delight-filled stay.

The Beautiful neighborhood where we stay during our Athenian stay Plaka
This is probably the most well-known and favorite park for locals. Located in the heart of the city, just behind the Greek Parliament and the central square of Syntagma, the National Garden is the perfect spot to go for a picnic, go for a jog, or discover the duck ponds and the small zoo. Take some time to sit by the impressive fountains and watch some of the city’s senior citizens play chess.
Some 500 different kinds of plants, bushes and trees from all over the world are grown here (in total, it has approximately 7,000 trees and 40,000 bushes). At the same time, the National Gardens comprise an important natural life reserve in Athens as many different species of birds, hedgehogs, turtles, ducks and even bats are gathered here. The National Gardens also enclose a number of ancient ruins, tambours and Corinthian capitals of columns, mosaics. etc.
On the south-east there are the busts of Capodistrias, first Governor of Greece, and of the great philhellene Eynard, and on the south side the bust of the celebrated Greek poets Dionysios Solomos, and of Aristotelis Valaoritis, as well as several other important personalities of modern Greece.

“The SNSF is a multifunctional space for education, culture and entertainment, home to the National Library of Greece and the State Opera, and fascinating to the beautiful libraries, and the place that caught my attention in Athens. “If you’re like me, then it’s certain: you’ll like it !.
The real reason for our coming
The country is currently experiencing a human, animal, historical and archaeological tragedy because of the fires ravaging the country. Three different places near Athens were destroyed by massive forest fires
° 180 people severely injured or burned
* 100 missing persons
In the headquaters of the Greek Red Cross to sort the products to be then distributed.
Although the Hellenic capital was spared by the devastating fires of mid-late July 2018 and the floods, the surrounding towns suffer.
Spreading awareness. There’s no need for such things to happen, so many lives were destroyed for no reason
If you are willing to help, the hellenic #rescross is the perfect place to start.
