Stroll through the city of lights with this very agreeable tour perfect for culture  lovers as well as people loving a more chillax moment. You will start  with the 1st arrondissement of Paris  characterized by its central location, on the right bank of the Seine, as well as by its world-famous monuments and places: the Sainte Chapelle, the Palais de Justice, the Ile de la Cité, the Conciergerie, the Tuileries garden, the Carrousel garden, the Forum des Halles, the Bourse de Commerce, the Saint-Roch church, the Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois church, the Pont Neuf, the Place Vendôme, the Place Dauphine, the Place des Victoires, the Palais Royal, the Louvre Museum…

Then follow on  with this district  well known for artists and intellectuals, but also for students, because of the presence of one of the most prestigious universities in Paris: the Sorbonne.

And end up in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. During the Middle Ages it merely was  a place of market gardening before being transformed into a chic and elegant district. André Le Nôtre , the Sun King’s gardener began the majestic path of the Champs-Elysées  In the 18th century, the upper middle class and aristocracy built sumptuous private mansions in the Faubourg-Saint-Honoré and on the avenues bordering the Parc Monceau, shaping the area to what we nowadays know.

  2. Quai Conti
  3. The Tuileries Gardens
  4. Promenade des Champs Elysées

It is a linear route that starts at the tour de l’horloge, Cite metro station and ends up at the Champs Elysées gardens.

Our friendly advice: The Champs Elysées Gardens divided in two sections are really a beautiful and peaceful scenery to enjoy. You can attend a play in the nearby Theater Marigny , admire the fountains and sculptures and treat yourselves to one of the Michelin star restaurants: Pavillon Ledoyen and  Pavillon Laurent.
