Foie gras translates literally into “fat liver,” is produced from the livers of geese or ducks. Foie gras, however, is an ancient delicacy with roots dating back to the time of the ancient Egyptians and Romans. Thought it has manydetractors, If you never tasted foie gras before, after the first bite, you may se e why it has such fanatics it is a very unique food. With foie gras, you do so much more than “taste” it. The texture and richness of it makes it anentire experience, a unique sensation for your mouth as your tastebuds take in this richness and the unique texture practically dissolves in your mouth. And lucky for you, the ones tasted are homemade by our cook friend Cecile, and she pays real attention to the organic and healthy side, so her foie gras recipe is marinated for days, then spiced up and eaten with the right wines.. or champagnes.

I liked a lot meeting the inhabitants and the small group which also allows to exchange our impressions between us.
